WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) introduced the
Environment Safety Agency (EPA) awarded $4,067,000
to the North Dakota Division of Environmental Extreme quality in nonpoint supply
implementation grants.

The funds Shall be Utilized by North Dakota to implement its nonpoint
supply administration program, Specializing in watersheds with water quality
impairments caUtilized by polluted runoff from nonpoint supplys. Nonpoint supply
implementation tasks embrace Pretty a Little bit of structural and non-structural biggest
administration practices (BMPs), watershed planning, monitoring, know-how demonstrations,
and Pretty a Little bit of education/outreach packages. The grant will assist the 2021
North Dakota Nonpoint Source Management Plan and tackle impairments recognized
on North Dakota’s Itemizing of Impaired Waters.
